The affirmations must be spoken out loud so that the sound can go into your ears and instruct your brain.
Listening and thinking is not as effective as our brain is designed to disregard these
things.
But, when we say something out loud and write it down, we are making a commitment with our subconscious mind.
If there are any affirmations that contradict your personal beliefs then simply skip them.
While doing the affirmations you are encouraged to move the body. They can be done while doing other activities such as housework, Tai Chi, dancing, meditating, riding a bike or driving.
At any time you're uncomfortable with any of the activities, pause until you have become comfortable again and then continue.
